CT-64 Multidetector Scanner
The Cardiovascular Clinic is proud to feature the 64 Detector/64 Slice Toshiba Multidetector CT Scanner. This exciting technology is a new technique giving a non-invasive 3D examination. This procedure usually takes less than 30 minutes to complete. It requires that the patient have an IV inserted and contrast dye injected in to the body. From here, the CT scans from head to toe, giving us a clearer picture of arteries in the body to find blockages. Some of the applications include the following:
